What a Dude!

Handyman

Owen found a screw on the floor, so he went and found his plastic hammer from his work bench to "fix the bench".  He worked on it for a while but got frustrated when the screw wasn't sticking in the wood.  I had to act like I was hammering it in the bench as well and hid the screw in my pocket so it looked like we plunged the screw in the wood.  He was pretty happy after that.

1st Snowfall of Winter of 2015

Owen had to get out in this snow asap and spend as much time in it as possible.

"The New Zoo"

At this point, Owen and I have been to the Milwaukee Zoo probaby 30-50 times.  He knows the zoo like the back of his hand, so I thought it would be a good change of pace to go to the Madison Zoo.  This is the 2nd time we have been here and he really likes the different animals that we find here and not at the Milwaukee Zoo.
(Owen refers to this zoo as "the new zoo".)

The Polar Bear Exhibition Vehicle

Owen loved driving it

Feeling an ostrich egg

Riding a tractor (and telling Daddy to sit on the back)

He usually gets what he wants (within reason)

Halloween - 2015

The Dude did a great job this year with trick-or-treating.  He wanted to be a polar bear since the spring (or early summer) and there was no turning back.

We practiced several times on his 1) knocking on the door and 2) saying "Trick or Treat", but he was pretty shy.

Got a lot of "cute" comments on his polar bear costume

Practicing

Ever since he saw "the big cat" in the yard he was obsessed with it.

We are getting to the time of night when he can only carry his "loot" with 2 hands.
Getting heavy.

Much needed rest hauling around all of that candy
(and we didn't even go around the block....only made it half way)

Leaf Trip

Yes, you read the title correctly.  We took a "leaf trip"....which I guess is a trip up to hike around parks to see the leaves change.  All in all it was a good trip to 2 very beautiful areas up near the Appleton area.
